Join us in celebrating National School Breakfast Week (NSBW). It is a week long celebration from March 4–8 of the federal School Breakfast Program, which provides nearly 12.5 million low-income children with a nutritious breakfast each school day. Celebration activities during NSBW can raise awareness about the healthy breakfast served at school, increase student participation, and provide a value service to the community. During the 2018/19 school year we served 28,177 breakfasts to our students. To help promote school breakfast during this week we will be decorating lunch lines in an “Out of This World” theme, have lucky tray days, and provide bookmarks and pencils to each students who participates in school breakfast during this week.
