🎉 Celebrating Our 2025 Retirees 🎉 Columbia Borough School District proudly recognized three outstanding CBSD team members who are retiring or have already retired during the May 15th School Board Meeting: -Dr. Crystal Martin -Donna Prokay -Deborah Weisser With a combined 92+ years of service in education, these dedicated professionals have provided invaluable support, leadership, and care to our students, staff, and the greater school community. Their work has helped shape the day-to-day operations and long-term goals of our district. ✅ Dr. Martin provided visionary leadership and worked tirelessly to advance district-wide goals and student success. In her role as Assistant to the Superintendent, she provided strategic support to district initiatives and operations. ✅ Mrs. Prokay has led our Human Resources department with integrity, compassion, and an unwavering focus on supporting staff and building a positive workplace culture. ✅ Mrs. Weisser ensured accuracy, consistency, and care in managing payroll and helping to support the business office day-to-day operations that keep our district running smoothly. The 2026 300th Anniversary of Wright's Ferry/Columbia Committee is hosting an official anniversary logo contest. Entry requirements include: open to all students in grades 7-12 in columbia, contest runs from May 1, 2025 until may 30,2025. Deadline: may 30th, the logo must be in color, the winning logo will be the official logo for all anniversary events! Ideas include: railroad town, river, burning of bridge, fireworks, riverpark, etc. Dropp off location CHS/CMS Hill campus or District administration center.  The winning entry will be chosen by vote on June 15th, 2025.
