September is Attendance Awareness Month: When a student is absent from school, it is a lost opportunity to learn. Almost a month into school and we are already seeing positive school attendance at each school! Average daily attendance rates at each school… ▪️Park Elementary: 94.2% (3% increase from last year) ▪️Columbia Middle School- Taylor Campus: 94.1% (4% increase from last year) ▪️Columbia Middle School-Hill Campus: 91.6% (1% increase from last year) ▪️Columbia High School: 91% (6% increase from last year) EVERY STUDENT EVERY DAY is so important!

September is Attendance Awareness Month: Building strong, trusting relationships that promote a feeling of belonging is fundamental to improving student attendance & engagement. Let’s help students build a habit of good attendance early & often. Every positive interaction in the community and in school counts!

Students from Columbia High School and Taylor Middle School participated in the 102nd Annual Mifflin Service today at Mount Bethel Cemetery.

Today Park Elementary received a donation of $2,442.70 from Tanger Outlets through their TangerKids Grant Program. Mrs. McCarty, a 3rd grade teacher at Park Elementary, submitted the grant request to purchase recess equipment for the playground. They also received an additional $1000 for winning the Members Choice Award that is voted on by TangerClub members. Thank you to Tanger Outlets and the TangerKids Grant Program for your generous donation.
