Congratulations to the Columbia High School Girls Basketball Team on an outstanding 3rd place finish in District 3 Class 3A! With a thrilling 49–45 victory over Oley Valley last night, the Crimson Tide showed incredible heart, composure, and determination when it mattered most.

In a hard-fought battle from start to finish, Columbia rose to the challenge, making key plays down the stretch and locking in defensively to secure the win. The grit and teamwork on display reflect the dedication this team has shown all season long. Every player stepped up, supporting one another and leaving everything on the court.

This accomplishment is something to truly celebrate — not just because of the finish, but because of the pride, unity, and relentless effort this team brings every time they represent Columbia. The Crimson and Gold faithful have loved watching this group compete and grow together.

And the journey isn’t over yet! With this impressive win, the Crimson Tide now advance to the PIAA 3A State Basketball Championship. The entire Columbia community stands behind you as you prepare for the next challenge.

Good luck at states, Crimson Tide — keep making us proud! 🏀

Columbia High School Crimson Tide girls basketball team poses for a formal team photo inside a gymnasium. Fourteen players in white “Crimson Tide” uniforms with maroon lettering and numbers are arranged in three rows on wooden bleachers, with two coaches in maroon and gray polo shirts positioned at the ends and one coach standing centered behind the top row. The front row of players is seated, the middle row kneels or sits, and the back row stands. A basketball rests on the lap of a seated player in the center of the front row. The gym floor is polished wood, and the background shows light-colored cinderblock walls and folded bleachers. The team colors are maroon and gold.
Columbia High School Crimson Tide girls basketball players stand in a tight huddle with their coaches on the gym floor during a game. The players wear white uniforms with maroon numbers and trim, along with various brightly colored basketball shoes. The coaches, dressed in maroon tops and khaki pants, stand within the circle speaking to the team. The players face inward, listening attentively with focused body language. In the background, referees in black-and-white striped shirts stand near the scorer’s table, and a few spectators sit on wooden bleachers against a light-colored gym wall.
A gymnasium scoreboard displays the final score of a girls basketball game. The home team has 49 points and the guest team has 45 points. The scoreboard shows Period 4, team fouls at 5 for each side, and bonus indicators lit for both teams. The scoreboard is mounted on a light-colored cinderblock wall and covered with protective netting. Below the scoreboard, banners feature individual player posters with names and photos, including Brynn Bigler (#15), Mekhi Johnson-Myer, and Delaney Burke (#20). Overhead lights and exposed ceiling beams are visible above the scoreboard.

Students in Mr. Farber's Honors World History class had the task of pitching an invention from the industrial revolution to a group of investors during their Shark Tank simulation. Students looked at the PROS and CONS of each invention and then invested with the hope of receiving a return on their investment. This was a way to learn about both the history of inventions and their impact while simulating making sound investments!
