For the second consecutive year, CBSD Food Services successfully hosted its Summer Culinary Program, once again sponsored by Penn State University. The program brought together school food service staff for an engaging and hands-on culinary experience.

Participants began by reviewing and discussing healthy, student-friendly recipes, followed by time in the kitchen to bring those meals to life. The program focuses on promoting nutritious, appealing options for school menus while building the culinary skills of food service professionals.

The continued partnership with Penn State University highlights a shared commitment to fostering healthier school communities through food.Chef Holding Greens A chef in a white coat and baseball cap stands in a cafeteria, holding leafy greens in both hands while addressing seated participants.
