We are having a special July Board Meeting this Thursday to discuss Re-Opening Plans for the 2020-2021 School Year and Personnel! Please come out Thursday, July 16, 2020 at 6pm at the Columbia High School Auditorium. Masks are required to attend.
Fall sports preparations have begun! If you have not yet signed up for fall sports please go to https://bit.ly/CBSDfallsignups and do so now. This will help coaches get an idea of how many are coming out this season!
There are two free ways you can get your physicals this year.
Orthopedic Associates of Lancaster is offering them for free by appointment on 7/11 (8 AM to 4 PM) or 7/20 (5:30 PM-9:30 PM). Please see their flyer https://bit.ly/31P7nlw for more information and call to make your appointment.
CBSD will also be hosting physicals at the high school on Thursday July 30th from 6PM to 8PM. If you will be coming to the high school for your physical we ask that you please sign up for a time slot ahead of time at https://bit.ly/CBSDfallphysicals. We are implementing time slots this year to try to limit the number of people in the building at one time waiting to see the doctor.
Regardless of which option you choose to get your physical please arrive with the physical packet completed and signed by the athlete and the parent/guardian. The physical form https://bit.ly/2Z7yQNF may be completed by typing in the boxes before printing if you prefer not to handwrite everything. If you do not have access to a printer you may pick up a copy of the physical packet in the main office from 8AM to 4PM Monday through Friday.
Students! Are you looking for an opportunity to earn some service learning hours? Columbia Presbyterian church is looking for volunteers on Wednesdays from 8-1pm to pack food boxes, and Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays from 10-1:30pm to play with students. LOCKER MATERIAL PICK-UP:
We previously held 3 days of material pick ups.
All students in grades 7-12 who have NOT picked up their locker materials and still want them, you can pick up your items next week from Monday, June 15 through Thursday, June 18 from 8:00am to 3:00pm.
If materials are not picked up by next Thursday, they will be donated or discarded.

SENIOR HONOR GRADUATES:
I wanted to sincerely apologize for missing four senior graduates that should have been recognized as Honor Graduates (students having an average of 3.7 or better)

We are so proud of the 96 graduates that have walked the stage and received their diploma last week. A 100% turn out rate, we are truly overjoyed with their accomplishments. We have taken pictures, and videos of each graduate and are looking forward to June 12th at 6pm when the compilation video airs. We will have more information available closer to the time.
