Students and staff put on their favorite crocs (and croc accessories) today! Some staff even wore matching shirts for the occasion. Mrs. Wright slightly misunderstood the spirit day, maybe she will get it right next year!

Students in Ms. Mulvey's math classes worked hard to create their very own Carnival Games! They created multiple math word problems related to the costs of games, rides and food. Then they worked together to build the games and used 'money' earned throughout to play the games. They had a blast building and creating!

Columbia alumni and Millersville football star, Robert Footman joined us for a special assembly last week. He shared with our students his experience with overcoming adversity, encouraged them to stay well rounded, and discussed his experiences attending Columbia Borough School District as well as Millersville University. A huge thank you to Robert for spending time with us and for signing all of those autographs!

Students in Mrs. Lake's Classroom held their first "Cafe in the Classroom," where students prepared and served homemade chicken corn soup, salad, and ice cream to staff members. Experiences like this enhance student understanding of business operations, and also foster teamwork, responsibility, and problem-solving skills in a real-world setting. We look forward to the next "Cafe in the Classroom!"
