October is National Principals Month, a time to recognize and honor the incredible leadership and dedication of principals across the nation. This month celebrates the vital role they play in shaping positive school cultures, supporting teachers, and ensuring student success — academically, socially, and emotionally.

Before this month comes to a close, we want to take a moment to thank our amazing principals for all you do to support our students, staff, and community. Your hard work, compassion, and leadership make a lasting difference in every classroom and every heart. ❤️💛

A special shoutout to our outstanding Principals:
-Elizabeth Landis – Columbia High School / Middle School Hill Campus
-Danielle Eshleman – Columbia Middle School Taylor Campus
-Trudi Smith – Park Elementary School

We are so grateful for your vision, commitment, and care. You make the Columbia Borough School District a better place for everyone!

A maroon background graphic celebrating National Principal Month. The words “National Principal Month” appear in large white and gold script at the top left. To the right is a large maroon “C” outlined in gold with the word “TIDE” written vertically inside, representing Columbia Borough School District’s Crimson Tide logo. Below the text are three rectangular photos of principals against a brick wall background: Elizabeth Landis, labeled “Hill Campus,” wearing glasses, a white blouse, and a navy blazer. Danielle Eshleman, labeled “CMS Taylor Campus,” with blonde hair, wearing a black blazer over a patterned blouse. Trudi Smith, labeled “Park Elementary,” with blonde hair, wearing a royal blue jacket over a patterned blouse. The design honors these principals for their leadership and dedication during National Principals Month.

Park hosted a "Camp Read A lot" last evening where students were able to sing under the stars, hear a story under the stars, play camp games and make a craft. They also went home with a book to learn how to be a star gazer! What a fun night!
