Mrs. Winter's kindergarten students had so much fun on Groundhog's Day! They learned about groundhogs, read and wrote words that they can tap out, identified sight words and graphed their predictions. What a great day of learning!

Mrs. Kinard's 3rd grade class is learning about forming and writing opinions. They discussed their opinions about Galileo and his contribution to astronomy: Was it his telescope or his book Starry Messenger?


Kindergarten students were learning about bees and their homes so they built and painted beehives.

Mrs. McCarty's 1st grade class worked on activities to honor MLK and did an experiment to see how the oil in a penguin’s feathers helps to make them waterproof and windproof to keep them warm.

A huge thank you to everyone who joined us for Gingerbread Night! It was such a joy to see families come together to celebrate the season with creativity and fun. From decorating cookies to enjoying the story Gingerbread Mouse read aloud, the evening was filled with laughter and holiday spirit.










Mrs. Blome's class made their own ornaments and practiced using their verbal skills to give them out to staff members. They did a great job of using their manners. We are Park Proud!
