On Wednesday, June 19, Exploration Columbia students constructed a suspension bridge out of toothpicks and marshmallows to test its strength and durability. Students also painted bird houses to create habitats for local bird species. Additionally, Bio Ben, an exotic animal handler with the North Museum of Nature and Science at Franklin and Marshall College , showed students reptiles and amphibians from the local area to include an American toad, a box turtle, and a corn snake.
